For a while now I've been trying to avoid Google and Microsoft services as much as possible. Yet we all know that's not probable if you want to function normally in today's world. Well I've kind of hit a point where the geeky side of me has won over the cautious once bitten twice from the...

Honestly whoever came up with this idea needs to go rethink life choices. These automatic updates are infuriating for people who can't get decent internet in their area. I've tried all I can to turn these bastards off, but it just refuses to stop. I'm on the verge of pulling my hair out if I see...
Dell Inspiron - Not really a bsod I don't think... 2nd time this has happened. MSN site when reading a story, screen becomes sort of transparent and seconds later, a small box with blue background says a problem has been detected. It then closes and goes to a black screen on desktop. I restart...

As far as I found out the rollup packages are cumulative.
So if I want to apply all patches from November 2016 until now only the last rollup package is needed.
Regarding the security packages its the opposite:
Every single security package from Novemeber 2016 until now is needed if I want to...

Hello. So back at the very beginning of October I started getting blue screens. I've 7 since then (possibly 8, may have been one during the night but I'm unsure). It's always PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA and mentions MDFSYSNT.SYS. I never really took note of what I was actually doing when they...

Hi everyone!
I stumbled upon your fine forum earlier today as I was looking for people who had the same problem and maybe a solution to my problem.
I'm currently experiencing these two BSODs when my computer is left on but idle; as in, I'll leave my computer after a long session of a video...

What a mess. Took some time but I got a bunch of it cleaned up. The major problem is that the clock isn't showing in the taskbar. There's a blank space where it should be. If I mouse over the space, it will show time/date. If I click, the calendar will come up.
I've done internet searches. Fun...
