As far as I found out the rollup packages are cumulative.
So if I want to apply all patches from November 2016 until now only the last rollup package is needed.
Regarding the security packages its the opposite:
Every single security package from Novemeber 2016 until now is needed if I want to...

Hello. So back at the very beginning of October I started getting blue screens. I've 7 since then (possibly 8, may have been one during the night but I'm unsure). It's always PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA and mentions MDFSYSNT.SYS. I never really took note of what I was actually doing when they...

Hi everyone!
I stumbled upon your fine forum earlier today as I was looking for people who had the same problem and maybe a solution to my problem.
I'm currently experiencing these two BSODs when my computer is left on but idle; as in, I'll leave my computer after a long session of a video...

What a mess. Took some time but I got a bunch of it cleaned up. The major problem is that the clock isn't showing in the taskbar. There's a blank space where it should be. If I mouse over the space, it will show time/date. If I click, the calendar will come up.
I've done internet searches. Fun...

Hi ! Windows forum is growing. We just reached 41,000 members today. That's a great! Nearly a 1000 sense I registered. Getting up there with the big dogs. It's a great place to learn new things and pass forward things you have learned to others. I hope we don't get to big and lose our friendly...
Me again,
I have a new Win7 Pro machine. It appears it's only updated to SP-1.
Yesterday I asked it to check for updates. It returned 'Checking for Updates'. It was still checking for updates when I went to bed with no result. Other machines would come back with the number and type of...

Hi! Does anyone here use this windows tool to troubleshoot. I think it's a great tool. Not wonderful, but it might help lead you to problems you may be having. I don't understand why more help forums don't at least call attention to it. To me it's the event viewer in a graft form, and a lot...

A Windows Forum user, ussnorway, posted the following curious statement:
"Correct... did you know there are folders on a Windows 10 system that you as the owner of that computer don't have the legal right to look at... nevermind change (under US law)?"
Would someone be kind enough to point me...

So I'm an avid Windows Debugger user, I'm on build 1151 (Version 10.0.10586, or as winver.exe likes to say 10586.14)
I downloaded the Win 64 symbols from Microsoft, and set my _NT_SYMBOL_PATH environment variable to
the normal shtick "SRV*H:\Symbols*http://msdl.microsoft.com/download/symbols"...
So I had win7 32 bit on my machine, then I installed the 64 bit version. I don't think the 32 bit install ever got removed, because after I upgraded to 10 it began taking me to the dual boot screen on startup. Now I can't delete the 20gb of windows 7 files off my ssd (it won't let me- says that...
