Hi,
I have forgotten if we have WinXP computers in a WinServer 2003 domain,
To join that WinXP computer to a WinServer 2003 domain, do we simply have to add the IP address of the WinServer2003 DC in the DNS preference settings of WinXP computer?

Also do we simply have to change the workgroup to domain and give the domain name in the system properties of XP computer?

Thanks

To join a Windows XP computer to a Windows Server 2003 domain, you need to perform a few steps. Here's how you can do it:

Steps to Join a Windows XP Computer to a Windows Server 2003 Domain:

      • Right-click on the network connection (usually "Local Area Connection") and select Properties.
      • Select Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) and click Properties.
      • Choose "Use the following DNS server addresses" and enter the IP address of the Windows Server 2003 domain controller in the Preferred DNS server field.
