But it was activated untill previous updation. I had run updates earlier but worked perfectly. But yesterday, it seemed to update windows update Agent and then it failed to update and activate. But NO counterfeit/pirated showing message appeared and everything else works smoothly.

Solution
It seems like there might be a couple of issues with your Windows 7 after the recent updates. Here are some troubleshooting steps you can try to resolve these problems:
Windows Update Service Not Running:
- Restart Windows Update Service:
- Press Win + R to open the Run dialog box.
- Type "services.msc" and hit Enter.
- Scroll down to find the Windows Update service.
- Right-click on it and select Restart.
- Ensure that the Background Intelligent Transfer Service (BITS) and the Cryptographic Services are also running. Windows Update is dependent on these services.

Windows Activation Issue:
- Go to Start and type "Activate Windows" in the search box.
- Select "Activate Windows" from the search results.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to resolve any activation issues.
- If the troubleshooter doesn't work, you might need to activate Windows over the phone.
- Open Control Panel, go to System and Security, then click on System.
- Scroll down to the Windows Activation section and select Activate Windows now.
- Choose the option to Activate by phone.
- Verify that your Windows 7 product key hasn't changed. You can find this information in the System applet in Control Panel.
Additional Steps:
- You can try performing a System Restore to a point before the updates were installed.
- Running the SFC /scannow command in an elevated Command Prompt can help fix system file corruption issues.
