Well, here I am again - and my Data-Files.
I've done all Updates I could find for my Motherboard and did them all. I've completed my Profile with the dates I could find.

Yesterday the system came up normaly and worked the whole day about 15 hours without any problem.
Today - it starts again "blue" and it stopped. After reboot I started with "normal" Window-Mode and after 5 min - the next BSOD.
It always appears at once after the start up - today twice. After then the system works without any problems, I used it today more then 10 hours without a break.

I write this now in "Secure Mode" and made the files for the "system-info" in this modus. My CPU-Z-Application won't start anymore, maybe there's something depending on the BSoD. I've added the logfile.

Hope you can help, please have a look at the files.

Here are some more informations which may be important to know for searching for reasons.

I use a Medion HDDDrive2Go - external HDD, connect it normally via USB, and had no problems till today.

I work with 3 17"Monitors connected with a TripleHead2Go analog. I use only the actual NVIDIA-Driver for my Graphic-Card (GTX460) and have not installed any Matrox-Drivers for the TH2G. Matrox doesn't support Win7 64 for the analog Version. It works very nice the window spanned via all 3 Monitors.

Edited after 8 Hours working:
I've now installed the MATROX driver and application served on their homepage described for Win7 64 and the Analogue Version.
(v64_gxm-tha_2_07_00_031_whql)

I'm really desperated, because me myself has no chance to find anything in such a system. Let me know if there are more informations necessary to know.

Hopeful greetings
Martin

Hi Martin.

STOP 0x00000005: INVALID_PROCESS_ATTACH_ATTEMPT
Usual causes:
Specific known issue with XP SP2/Server 2003 and certain Antivirus or Firewall programs

Your latest dump file lists ntkrnlmp.exe as the probable cause. This is a Windows System file and for it to be the cause of your crash is highly unlikely.
Old and incompatible drivers can and do cause issues with Windows 7, often giving false error codes. Random stop codes can often indicate hardware issues.

As a Priority:

Uninstall Trend Micro. How To and Removal Tools...
Replace with Link Removed due to 404 Error

AsIO.sys Tue Aug 24 02:53:02 2010 ASUS Probe Utility - Has issues with Windows 7. Uninstall.

AsUpIO.sys Tue Aug 03 03:47:59 2010 ASUS hardware monitoring utility. Possible issues with Windows 7. Uninstall.

Drivers with Updates:

nusb3hub.sys Fri Dec 10 04:50:35 2010
nusb3xhc.sys Fri Dec 10 04:50:35 2010
Go to your Motherboard Mfr. Support website (or Link Removed - Invalid URL) and update your USB 3.0 drivers. A June 2011 set are available Here.

Rt64win7.sys Wed Dec 29 11:44:36 2010 Realtek PCIe GBE Family Controller v7.049 If you're unsure about manually installing drivers then choose the Win7 and WinServer 2008 R2 Auto Installation Program (SID:1477671) option to download.

Let us know how it goes. If you get further problems with blue screens, attach your new dump files and details and we'll move on from there.

HTH.

Also, once in normal mode:

Download and run CPU-Z. Take screenshots**/snips of the Mainboard tab, Memory tab and all the slot #'s under the SPD tab.
Go to Post Reply, click on the Go Advanced button and attach the screenshots**/snips to your post for all the RAM experts to see by using the paper clip you will find on the top toolbar. Do not zip them up.
**If screenshots, please crop.

Please be sure to get all the slot numbers under the SPD tab.

(I don't think CPU-z will run in safe mode, regardless).

Many tnx for your help. Tomorrow morning the PC startet and got down again, but no bluescreen and with automatic restart on its own. Selection "Windows Help Programm" or "Start Windows normal".
After selecting "Win normal" the system runs since tomorrow morning and I did all you've recommended.
The CPU-Z-File is added and I will watch the scene.
Thank's so much, I hope it will getting better...

Martin

Hi!
First: In my last thread I meant "this morning the PC startet.." and not "tomorrow".

Well, a few Hours later the next crash, after having done all instructed activities.
The PC was executing my FlightSimulater since about 1 hour, only in standby mode, not really active.
It never happened till now during a program was executing. Normally at once after booting or a few minutes later.

Do we have any chance to solve this? I think over to change back to WinXP 64 to avoid a coming nervous breakdown. Is there any experience with Win7 Professional compared to the Home Premium? Do you think this could make it easier?

But I trust in your excellent skills and go on trying...

Added the actual SystemInfoCode.

STOP 0x00000109: CRITICAL_STRUCTURE_CORRUPTION
Usual causes:
Device driver, Breakpoint set with no debugger attached, Hardware (Memory in particular).

Your latest dump file lists Memory_Corruption as the probable cause which usually indicates out of date Drivers, incorrectly configured Memory Timings, mismatched Memory or Bad Memory.
Old and incompatible drivers can and do cause issues with Windows 7, often giving false error codes. Random stop codes can often indicate hardware issues.

AsIO.sys
AsUpIO.sys
The software related to these should be listed in Programs and Features. Most Like as Asus ***** Utility. If you can't find them, then you can disable drivers through the Device Manager or by renaming them.
Renaming drivers:
Create a System Restore Point. GoTo C:\Windows\System32\Drivers, locate the driver files and rename them from .sys to say, .bak.
This will break the driver and prevent it from running after the next reboot. Once you've established that having that driver in a none running state hasn't caused any adverse side effects, it will then be safe to delete it.

As a Priority:

Can you go into your bios and check that XMP is enabled for your ram?
XMP stands for extreme memory profile and is only supported if your memory says it fine to use. On the memory boards there's a spd chip. XMP makes it use the fastest setting that's allowed by the memory. It auto sets memory timings and memory voltages so you don't have to.

Using the Intel® Driver Update Utility (in Internet Explorer gives me the best results). Check for any updates for your motherboard (chipsets) etc..

CRITICAL_STRUCTURE_CORRUPTION (109)
This bugcheck is generated when the kernel detects that critical kernel code or
data have been corrupted. There are generally three causes for a corruption:
1) A driver has inadvertently or deliberately modified critical kernel code
 or data. See http://www.microsoft.com/whdc/driver/kernel/64bitPatching.mspx
2) A developer attempted to set a normal kernel breakpoint using a kernel
debugger that was not attached when the system was booted. Normal breakpoints,
"bp", can only be set if the debugger is attached at boot time. Hardware
breakpoints, "ba", can be set at any time.
3) A hardware corruption occurred, e.g. failing RAM holding kernel code or data.

Pffffffff!

Game over!
After receiving your post I restarted the PC and interrupted it to come to the BIOS.
I've looked there for the XMP, found it and it was to "Auto", not enabled. I did NOTHING ELSE !!!
Left the Boot-Menue with "exit without saving".

The PC startet - and a black screen came up, a line "Windows is loading files...:" and it starts a repair program.

Well, this program ran for hours and showed nothing. When I tried interrupt - it don't let me do that!
The only chance is to kill it completely.

I think I'm getting not too old with this OS - I think I have to re-install the whole system and first try to find a former installation point. And if I've done that - we can go on with solving blue screens....

I'm afraid I have to come back......

Martin
very, very sad

Sorry to here that.

There's a little program called Double Driver. It backs up all your installed drivers for a re-install. I usually only do the non MS drivers. Handy. Saves starting from scratch.

Good morning, my helping friend!
I did it again! Restored my system from a "refreshing point" from 01/11/2012.
Tried to use all new informations I've got from this date. BIOS update, Chipset updates and all the good things.
The PC comes up this morning and it makes me "blue" again.
Here are the news of the day from Martin - would you try it again?

By the way: the switch in my Bios was on "Auto". Should it be so or should I change it to "X.M.P." ?

Edited 2 Hours after sending the post:
After starting the PC works now with my FSX Simulator without problems.
It must have to do anything with the starting process...

Greetings
Martin

Thanks

I'd turn it to XMP, it should take care of all the rams settings for you then.

Without looking further as yet, both were memory corruption which could be bad settings so definitely try XMP.

Update these again:

Rt64win7.sys Wed Dec 29 11:44:36 2010 Realtek PCIe GBE Family Controller v7.049 If you're unsure about manually installing drivers then choose the Win7 and WinServer 2008 R2 Auto Installation Program (SID:1477671) option to download.

RTKVHD64.sys Tue Nov 02 11:25:59 2010 Realtek HD Audio R2.67

Nip to Intel, see if its anything to offer: Use the Intel® Driver Update Utility (in Internet Explorer gives me the best results). Update any and all drivers available.

Rename these again:

AsIO.sys Tue Aug 24 02:53:02 2010
AsUpIO.sys Tue Aug 03 03:47:59 2010

And that's about it driver wise.

Good Morning, my helper!

It seems to be solved, but tomorrow morning........blue again.

But it was a little bit more different to the BSoDs I got before. During start at once blue, then started again itself and then running for hours. Could it be the coldness?

I have a extern HDD from Medion, it was connected during start. When I look on their website for a driver, it shows me only one for W98. Could this be the reason? Tomorrow morning I try to start without it, we will see.

Nevertheless, I send you my new datas, its another BCCode today: fc - never seen before....

Wish you an interest day.
Martin

Your FC stop basically says a driver is at fault.

Can you disable these two? They're still loading:

AsIO.sys Tue Aug 24 02:53:02 2010
AsUpIO.sys Tue Aug 03 03:47:59 2010

See how it goes. This is a process of elimination. :)

BTW, those are the only 'naughty' drivers I've spotted at the moment.

I have a extern HDD from Medion, it was connected during start. When I look on their website for a driver, it shows me only one for W98. Could this be the reason? Tomorrow morning I try to start without it, we will see.

Only you can prove/dis-prove this. Start without it connected, start with it connected, see what happens. At a distance, my friend, you need to do some of the work!! :)

If you can give full specifications of your external, model number etc. We will help you,

Well, "good" morning - blue again :)

It's a little bit funny, because I thought it's done.
I have the driverscanner running every start-up-process, it shows me none not-actual driver, everything's ok.

I didn't find the described "AsIO.sys" or "AsUpIO.sys" to rename them - looked everywhere.

I had de-connected my extern drive before start-up.

Well - blue again............ What's up? Maybe you can show another way? Another OS? Another user :)
But: after this blue beginning the systems works without any problems the whole day, nearly 15-20 hours.
It's only the start-up..

Greetings
Martins

Please run Memtest. Before running Memtest though, make sure all internal cable connections are good and that the ram etc. is seated properly.

Run Memtest86+ overnight, after your computer has been off for about an hour or two so it has a cold start. Ideally let it run for at least 7 passes / 6-8 hours. If errors appear before that you can stop that particular test.
Note!! Any time Memtest86+ reports errors, it can be either bad RAM or a bad Mobo slot. Test RAM sticks individually. When you find a good one then test it in all slots. Post back with the results.

Locations to manually look for the ASIO/ASupIO drivers: C:\Windows\System32\drivers, C:\Windows\System32, C:\Windows\SysWOW64, C:\Windows. Also search for Asus in Program Files and Program Files (x86).

Hi Elmer,

Memtest done - both RAM-Modules seem to be ok, no error occured.

And I searched my whole System - nowhere anything for these *.sys -Dats.

Greetings
Martin

PS: today start without BSoD....we wait for tomorrow :)

Just a thought. Can you see the systems hidden files and folders?

Open Folder Options (In an open window, on the Menu bar >> Tools >> Folder options... >> Select View tab)

(a) Select Show hidden files, folders, and drives.
(b) Uncheck the Hide protected operating system files box. Click on Yes to confirm.
(c) Click on Apply and then OK your way out.

Thanks for the idea - but I always operate with these options. There is nothing hidden.
I even ran through the device manager, on EVERY feature I made "Properties->Drivers->Driver Details" and looked whether there is anything like that.
It must be still away. But what matters, I can't find it....
That the status.
Today morning:
I started like everyday and had 1 short bluescreen - I decided to start Windows (follow the question) normal and it came up without problems. I looked in the folder "Minidump" and there was nothing with the date of today.
Since this time till now it worked.
Only every morning. I think I let the machine run an run and don't switch it off.....

Thanks for your support
Martin

Hi again!
it's curious - every day in the morning the same "blue". But since nearly 3 days it came up at once in the starting phase, gets down again and boots without any other problems. There was another minidump today and due to the starting period I have another suggestion:Could it be one of the "RUN"-Programs in the "RunInfoLocal"-Folder?
Can I de-activate those programs without losing any functions?
Nice to hear from you again - I think it's getting better....
Martin

Hi Martin, Welcome back :(
:D :D :D

STOP 0x000000D1: DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL
Usual causes:
Device driver

Your latest dump file lists tcpip.sys as the probable cause.
This is a Windows System file and for it to be the cause of your crash is highly unlikely.

Along your lines of thinking, none of these need to run at Start Up. After disabling in MSConfig, see if the relevant programs have an option to stop them from starting with Windows.

SunJavaUpdateSched
Adobe ARM
DriverScanner

These two are still annoying the hell out of me!! Supposed Locations;

AsIO.sys C:\Windows\System32\drivers, possibly a sub-folder in Program Files
AsUpIO.sys C:\Windows\System32\drivers.

Can you do me a favour? Download a program called Everything. Do a search for those drivers using that, see if it finds them.

nusb3hub.sys Fri Apr 23 02:34:35 2010
