Hi,

I've been getting the BSOD a lot the last couple days. I recently built my comp and has having no problems until the last 2 days or so. I checked the memory and there were no problems with that. I upgraded to the latest vid card driver but that didn't seem to help. My BIOS is already up to date. I'm clueless now with what to do.

Any help is appreciated!

Thanks

It sounds like you're experiencing some frustrating issues with the Blue Screen of Death (BSOD) on your recently built computer. Let's troubleshoot this step by step to resolve the problem. Here are some common steps to take when dealing with BSOD errors: 1. Check for Recent Changes: Start by thinking about any recent changes or installations that might have triggered the issue. 2. Check for Overheating: Ensure that your computer is not overheating. Excessive heat can lead to system instability and crashes. 3. Check Hardware Connections: Make sure all your hardware components are properly connected. Loose connections can cause stability issues. 4. Check Event Viewer: Look into the Event Viewer on your computer to find more details about the error. This can provide clues on what to fix. 5. Run Windows Memory Diagnostic Tool: This tool can help you identify any memory-related issues that could be causing the BSOD. 6. Check for Driver Issues: Outdated or corrupt drivers can often cause BSOD errors. Try updating all your drivers to the latest versions. 7. Use Safe Mode: Boot your computer into Safe Mode and check if the issue persists. If it doesn't occur in Safe Mode, it could be a software-related issue. 8. Update Windows: Make sure your Windows OS is fully updated. Sometimes, Microsoft releases patches that fix certain system issues. 9. Check for Malware: Run a full system scan with an antivirus program to rule out any malware infections. 10. Check Disk for Errors: Use the built-in Windows tool to check for disk errors. Feel free to try these steps and let me know if any of them provide more insight into the issue you're facing. If you need further assistance, don't hesitate to ask!
