Hi all,

I have one small but annoying issue. It's about the backround or wallpaper changer. When it was set to change every 1 hour, it worked well. But when I set it to change every 1 day, it just doesn't change at all and I'm seeing the same picture for couple of days now.
Of course, I have made sure that there's more than 1 image to choose from and all of them are selected.
I'm using Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit with Service Pack 1.

Any help?

It seems like you're experiencing an issue with the wallpaper changer settings on your Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit system. If the wallpaper is not changing as expected when set to change every 1 day, there are a few things you can try to troubleshoot and resolve this issue:

Troubleshooting Steps:

  1. Check the Power Plan Settings:
    • Sometimes, power setting configurations can interfere with the wallpaper changer. Make sure that the power plan is not set to a power-saving mode that might prevent wallpaper changes.
    []Reset Wallpaper Settings:
    • Temporarily switch the wallpaper changer back to every 1 hour, apply the settings, and then switch it back to every 1 day. This might reset any potential...

    ]Verify Image Selection:
    • Double-check that the images you've selected are accessible and not corrupted. Try selecting a new set of images to see if the issue persists.
    []Permissions and Restrictions:
    • Ensure that the images you are trying to use as wallpapers are not restricted in any way, such as being located in a system-protected folder.
    [
    ]Third-Party Software Conflict:
    • If you have any third-party software installed that might be affecting desktop background changes, try temporarily disabling or uninstalling it to see if the issue resolves.
  2. System Refresh:
    • Consider restarting the Windows Explorer process or restarting your system to refresh all desktop settings.

      Additional Suggestions:

      • Update Windows: Ensure that your Windows 7 system is up to date with the latest updates and patches.
      • Check Event Viewer: Look for any related error messages in the Windows Event Viewer that might provide more insight into the issue.
If these steps do not resolve the problem, let me know, and we can explore further solutions.
