guys ever since i got the cumulative update iv been getting a black desktop screen any help to stop it?
 
When you mean black desktop, do you mean the wallpaper disappears or the whole screen including taskbar goes black?

If it's the wallpaper try creating a new theme.

If it's the whole desktop, try re-installing your graphic drivers.
 
the whole screen including task bars go black and i tried updating graphic drivers it stated that it is up to date...
 
What is the make and model of your system.

Also type dxdiag into the run box, click ok then save the results. Zip it and then post, thank you.

We need the full model number.

I opened your zip file only to find DDU logs. Can you type dxdiag into the run app, click ok and then save the revealed dxdiag. zip that up and send it.

I took a look over your support page at Acer and it might be worth trying the Intel driver displayed on the support page:

I would still use the ddu to remove the driver already installed.
