Windows 7 beeps after installing updates

Hi,

I get beeps at a continuous interval after I install updates on freshly installed version of Windows7 RC. I am guess it happens after I install "Test Windows7 update". Just wondering if anyone else has experienced it. It is a brand new Acer Aspire 5737Z laptop.

Call tech support. You have it free for a year minimum. They know what the beep codes mean, usually serious. If you want to try something before calling, System Restore to before the update. See if it repeats. Be glad it is new because you're covered. Learn how to use tech support and you will get a free education - just continually show your appreciation. I had a paid copy of XP that bought me a year's free MS education in how to optimize my computer, just by calling and asking very polite questions.
