Hello, this is my first post so be gentle...

I installed Windows 7 Ultimate x64 last night and am having trouble with aquiring drivers for my wireless card as the ones i have are not for windows 7.

My previous OS was Windows XP x64, i have run the setup correctly and tried comapability mode and managed to install the drivers that are on the disk but my machine is not recognising the card still

please could someone push me in the right direction, either a link with a compatable card ;), or some advice would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers!

    ]Manufacturer's Website:
    • Visit the manufacturer's website of your wireless card to download Windows 7 drivers directly.
    • Look for the support or downloads section and locate the driver specifically for Windows 7 x64.
    []Compatibility Mode Installation:
    • If you have downloaded the drivers but they don't install, try running the installer in compatibility mode.
    • Right-click on the driver installer, go to Properties > Compatibility, and select an earlier version of Windows.
    [
    ]Windows Update:
    • Check for Windows Updates as they sometimes include driver updates that can resolve compatibility issues.
    []Driver Update Tools:
    • Use third-party driver update tools like Driver Booster, Driver Easy, or Snappy Driver Installer to automatically detect and install missing drivers.
    [
    ]Alternative Wireless Card:
    • If you are unable to find compatible drivers, you may consider purchasing a new wireless card that explicitly supports Windows 7 x64.

      Finding a Compatible Wireless Card:

If you decide to purchase a new wireless card, ensure it explicitly mentions Windows 7 x64 compatibility on the manufacturer's website or product specifications. I hope these steps help you resolve the issue with your wireless card drivers. Let me know if you need further assistance! Cheers!
