i only noticed this about 2 minutes ago when i booted my desktop to windows 7, same build, as its using the same ISO file and product key so dont bother mentioning that, well, my boot up screen is like the vista one, where its the bar center bottom left, not the fancy thing which is on my desktop, any suggestions on how to get this back, note i do not really know how long this has been on for

Solution
It seems like your Windows 7 boot screen is displaying differently, resembling the Vista boot screen rather than the usual Windows 7 boot screen with the flag animation. To resolve this and get back the original Windows 7 boot screen, you can try the following steps:

Method 1: Using the System Configuration Tool (msconfig)

  1. Press Windows + R on your keyboard to open the "Run" dialog.
  2. Type msconfig and press Enter.
  3. In the System Configuration window, go to the "Boot" tab.
  4. Check "No GUI boot" option if it is unchecked.
  5. Click "Apply" and then "OK".
  6. Restart your computer and check if the boot screen has been restored.

    Method 2: Using Command Prompt

    Code:
     bcdedit /set {globalsettings} bootux standard
  9. Restart your computer to see if the changes take effect.

Method 3: Using EasyBCD (Third-party software)

  10. Download and install EasyBCD (free tool) from the official website.
  11. Launch EasyBCD and navigate to the "Change Settings" tab.
  12. Check the box for "Use Metro Bootloader" (Windows 7/8/10).
  13. Click "Apply Settings" and then reboot your PC.

Method 4: Restore from a System Restore Point

  14. Go to Control Panel > System and Security > Backup and Restore.
  15. Click on "Recover system settings or your computer".
  16. Choose the option to "Open System Restore".
  17. Select a restore point from before the issue occurred and follow the instructions to restore. Try these methods to see if they restore the Windows 7 boot screen to its original state. If none of these methods work, please let me know for further assistance.
