Hello, I have been trying to figure out what is causing my BSOD i'm new to forum so if I need to do anything else with the dump files please let me know, I'm going to copy paste what i analyzed in windbg:

Still getting error, anyone think it could be the new nvidia drivers? I also haven't changed anything in my computer. I was using windows 7 32 bit just fine, I installed 64 bit version today because i'm getting 4 gb of ram so wanted to have it installed but nothing but troubles with 64 bit.

Here is an updated mini dump, had bsod happen again. I have ran memory test nothing wrong, check disk no errors, sfc /scannow nothing wrong, installed hotfix still crashed, and I have all drivers updated (I believe). Really stumped system worked fine in xp and 32 bit just not doing the 64 bit. Any help to fix this problem is greatly appreciated. Thank You

Here is my ms32 info

*EDIT- I don't know what the asus pc probe utility is. Went to asus and selected my motherboard which is a p5n-e sli, nothing like that for download. I don't even remember having that utility, how would I remove the program, it's not listed in my control panel. The only things I have done with my motherboard was update the bios to the latest version, but didn't come with pc probe. The sb audigy said I already had the most current drivers, I use a sound card and I have my onboard audio disabled which is realtek I know thats outdated. The NIC driver let me install, and after updating the NIC driver I haven't gotten a bsod yet, I hope this fixes the problem.

The AsIO.sys driver is most commonly associated with the PCProbe program - but it's still possible that it's associated with some other Asus utility (or maybe even was installed by Windows Update when you installed Windows).

FWIW - I've seen a lot of issues with the Asus P5 series of boards. I usually recommend this:
- DO NOT use the AUTO setting for memory. Go to the RAM manufacturer's website and get the recommended settings for the RAM. Then set those settings manually in the BIOS
- one person with a 2009 BIOS has experienced success by updating the BIOS. This is dangerous and one simple mistake can easily damage your motherboard so it won't work. Be VERY, VERY CAREFUL!!!

As of late June 2012 - I haven't seen many issues with these boards over the last several months.

Don't worry about the Asus driver right now. The Asus website doesn't list any Utilities for the motherboard - which leads me to suspect that they aren't supporting Win7 on it. Worst case is that we'll have to remove the driver manually, but that's somthing that we'll have to try later on.

Meanwhile, I think that these 2 drivers are more important to update:

First of I would like to say Thank you for all your help.

I went back to 32 bit, I updated those drivers and it still bsod. I don't understand why I can't run 64 bit, i've ran the upgrade advisor everything passed. For the ram timing, it was set to auto so don't know if that is going to fix or not. My motherboard should be the current update according to the Asus website. I'm currently in college and really need my computer, I want to run 64 bit but dont want to keep getting bsod all the time really a pain to reformat back and forth. How would I go about putting windows 7 64 bit and leaving 32 bit on same hard drive, or is that even possible. I have 32 bit and 64 bit discs.

I would suggest that you stay with 32 bit until college is on a break - then mess with 64 bit then
Meanwhile, leave the system alone and only update drivers that we've identified in the BSOD's.

That way we can isolate the BSOD's in this way:
- first we rule out 3rd party drivers (non-Microsoft)
- then we rule out hardware problems
- then we rule out Windows problems

Ruling out the 3rd party drivers is the most difficult and time-consuming. But once that's done we it's either been fixed, or it's a hardware problem (you've ruled out Windows because of the reinstallations that you've performed).

Yeah, 64 bit is really making me mad. Do you think it could be my SD card reader by chance? I tried to look at windows 7 compatibility center and could only find 1 card reader compatible.

Can't find nothing. The operating system I have is windows 7 profession 64 bit (Dreamspark). Just really want to figure this out its confusing, everything in my system is suppose to be 64 bit compatible after doing research on everything. The only thing I can try I guess is to disable my ssd drive (which has 5 ports and a usb).
