Hello,

I got regularly BSOD on my Asus G73, W7 64 bits; (after resuming from hibernation)

1. No problem with RAM
2. I tried different AV & FW with same results.
3. No unidentified USB devices.

Any help would be highly appreciated.

Cheers

Hi there,

One of the USB device is casuing the system to crash. Here are few issue I found.

Bluetooth device BTHENUM \ {00001204-0000-1000-8000-000F & _LOCALMFG 00805F9B34FB} \ 8 & 18639A8 & 0 & 2D2E00000000_C00000000 The drivers for this device are not installed.

Agnitum Firewall Driver ROOT \ LEGACY_AFW \ 0000 This device is not present, not working properly, or all the drivers are not installed. [ I would recommend to uninstall that Firewall]

ASWFilt ROOT \ LEGACY_ASWFILT \ 0000 This device is not present, not working properly, or all the drivers are not installed. [Related to same firewall]

VBEngNT ROOT \ LEGACY_VBENGNT \ 0000 This device is not present, not working properly, or all the drivers are not installed. [ Agnitum Ltd. Host Protection Component]

So uninstall those Firewall / Antispy protection and install Microsoft Security essentials. Update the Bluetooth drivers if didn't find any then replace with new device that supports Windows 7.

Code:

Hello,

Thank you very much for your analysis.

I already un installed Agnitum FW, but pieces are still there ...

Update the Bluetooth drivers if didn't find any then replace with new device that supports Windows 7.

What is the best way to update the BT driver ? I did already all the updates from Asus..

If not possible, and as I do not use BT, is there a possibility to completly remove it ?

Best Regards.
Pascal

Go to the Manufacture's website and see if you have an updated version. if not go to Programs and Features in control panel and remove the Bluetooth software. Then go to Start under search type in Device Manager and in that list if you see anything referring to Bluetooth then right click on it and click on uninstall. Regarding Firewall refer this article Link Removed - Invalid URL

Ok, thanks.

By the way, do you have any idea why my USB peripherals are often not working when going out from hibernation ? I have to unplug / replug them to get them working.

Many thanks.
