Ive been getting the BSOD and ive done alot to try fix it, updated drivers, virus scanned... im new to this kind of stuff so im really annoyed, just spent over £400 getting this computer! and i need help!
My computer has also been turning off alot (Kernel Power ID41 (63), which i also dont know what, im thinking my sound driver since its from last year... but i dont know much about this type of stuff)
but BSOD is my main priority!
This is my most recent case, is this what i send (attachment) or should i give something else?
ive had several other BSODs which i could add if needed...

Specs are
Intel(R) Core(TM) i5 CPU 750 @ 2.67GHz (4 CPUs), ~2.8GHz
Nvidia GeForce 9600 GT
2Gb of DDR3 RAM
gigabyte GA-P55M-UD4 Motherboard
1TB HDD

Thanks :D

It's a file in your system which belongs to that author. You can try to find it in Control Panel -> Programs and components.

Update your Realtek, it's old enough.

i already was downloading the realtek thing before i posted, heard it could solve my Kernel-power error... it seemed to be a VERY consistent Solution to it...
(btw, i edited my last post)
ok for the intel thing, im unsure wether i should Download this

Link Removed due to 404 Error
or

Generally No realtek is your audio driver.

he is some help for finding drivers

How To Find Drivers:
- search Google for the name of the driver
- compare the Google results with what's installed on your system to figure out which device/program it belongs to
- visit the web site of the manufacturer of the hardware/program to get the latest drivers (DON'T use Windows Update or the Update driver function of Device Manager).
- if there are difficulties in locating them, post back with questions and someone will try and help you locate the appropriate program.
- - The most common drivers are listed on this page: Driver Reference
- - Driver manufacturer links are on this page: Drivers and Downloads

1) Yes, uninstall the McAfee in safe mode using the tool found here. It is causing troubles and you really don't want that anyhow:

AV Uninstallers - Windows 7 Forums

Reboot and install MSE, which is free and never causes bsod under any circumstances.

2) Update your PowerISO.

SCDEmu SCDEmu.SYS Sun Mar 15 06:25:46 2009

PowerISO - Create, Edit, Compress, Encrypt, Split, Mount, Extract ISO file, ISO/BIN converter, Virtual Drive

3) Update your Realtek lan driver. Type systeminfo in a command prompt to see its number. If it is 8111, use this link. If it is anything else, search the number on the left side of the link instead:

Rt86win7 Rt86win7.sys Fri Jul 10 06:09:49 2009

RTL8111

4) Let Intel's website scan and install latest drivers which should include this Matrix Storage driver. If it doesn't install for any reason, visit your motherboard website instead, for it:

iaStor iaStor.sys Thu Jun 04 21:42:33 2009

http://downloadcenter.intel.com/default.aspx?iid=gg_support-EN_01+home_downloadctr

5) Update your Realtek HD Audio driver:

RTKVHDA RTKVHDA.sys Tue Jun 16 06:14:14 2009

RtkHDAudio

7) Update or uninstall the copy protection driver:

lirsgt lirsgt.sys Sat Mar 07 10:17:27 2009

ok, i only done the Realtek driver thing, since it was late at night, left my comp on overnight, and it DIDNT restart :O this is a good sign, i shall do the rest though

Thanks Alot Guys!
:D IM NOW HAPPY!!!! :D

I cant seem to get the intel scan thing, it just keeps saying "installing" and i cant find it on my motherboards website, nor manually searching on intels site.. i MUST be doing something wrong...

tried to install that thing... and got BSOD, heres the data.
not sure if thats related, nor if it installed the drivers right, too afraid to try again incase BSOD!!

Start with removing the McAfee in the manner as I've shown to do. Gotta get that off the machine.

gotta ANOTHER Blue Screen,
the problem is, my parents JUST got Mcaffee... £30
and its never caused ANY problems
And why are they becoming SO frequent now!?

You can post as many bsods as you want of course, but that isn't going to stop them from happening unless you follow the advice about the McAfee junkware.

Then update whatever else hasn't been done yet, like the Intel driver.

MSE is free and will never bsod.
