Windows 10 Builtin Admin unable to access Windows 10 Default Apps

Hello and greetings to All,

As of late windows 10 shows error on trying to access default programs like Photos, Music, Video etc.

This app can't open
...can't be opened with using the Built-in Administrator account. Sign in with a different account and try again.

I have enabled the options Administrator and the Elevated Security options in gpedit, but this seems to have no effect.

In addition on opening the gpedit I get a strange notice:

Everything was working quite nicely till recently.

Would appreciate some tips to fix these issues.

Hi Zabberwan,
have you checked your account details in the 'Settings' section? You may need to verify your account again.

In addition to setting the Elevated Security as ENABLED you also need to modify value of EnableLUA to 1 in:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\System
