Windows 7 Can not modify files from XP laptop & save to win 7 desktop.

I can see and open files between both my XP Home laptop and Win 7 Pro desktop.
When I modify a document on one of the pcs and need to save it on another, I get " Access Denied: contact administrator"

I am the administrator, and running as such on both machines.

I tried even giving permissions to everyone on win7, but no use - same message.

I am responding to this post because I have the same problem and I want to be notified if anyone has a solution to the issue. Perhaps someone will be able to help both of us and perhaps others as well. I automatically give read/write permission to everyone, also.
