I am connected to the wireless modem in my laptop, but it says there is no internet access.
I have full signal strength but no internet. Ethernet and wireless both are not working.
I tried to renew IP address in comand promt and I received following results.

If anyone can help me it would be great.

Good advice Drew.

You might want to make sure these services are started

Go t Start > Run, and type services.msc.

Scroll down until you see the 2 WLAN entries and make sure both are started.

Thanks for the advice drew.
I've tried both. Power cycled the modem and then the router and also uninstalled both adapters.
The problem still exists. Internet still doesn't work.

Thanks for the reply.
I checked the WLAN entries and they were already started.
I restarted them but still no internet.

I tried connecting laptop hard-wired directly to the modem and it doesn't work that way too.

139 ms is a long time. mine were between 39 and 56.

Did you try resetting the modem

Did this start immediately after install?

Yeah i reset modem and now it's 83 to 90 ms.
I installed windows 7 about two weeks ago and internet always worked.
Somehow after last night it stopped working.

Hello again,.
Try going to Start > Run, and type cmd. Now type msconfig /all.

Copy all that information into Notepad and attach It to your next post.

When I try that it brings up a system configuration menu with "general, boot, services, startup, and tools" tabs. At the bottom, when I click on apply and then OK, it reboots the computer.

Sorry,. my mistake,

Try going to Start > Run, and type cmd. Now type ipconfig /all.

Copy all that information into Notepad and attach It to your next post

Ok. This is what I receive from ipconfig /all.

This is a probably a long shot but it sometimes resolves poor connection issues... and it's easy to reverse.

go to Task Manager /services /services and Disabled the Function Discovery Resource Publication service

(don't disable the other Function Discovery service) reboot and test

Note: Windows 7's new "HomeGroup" connectivity requires this service.
