Windows 7 Can't play DVDs! Assistance please.

When I put in a DVD I get a "KoanBox is undefined" error message. What the heck is a koanbox? Please assist me !

Do you have an HP computer? Is anything set up to automatically download or connect to the net?

Yes, it's an HP laptop. How do I disable the automatic connection to the web?

Since this may be HP specific, I can't really help. Maybe someone else will know.

Until then, you might run msconfig to see if something is starting up that is connecting. Otherwise, you will probably have to track down the software and adjust it or stop it from running.
