Currently I am having an issue where certain programs open/run very slow such as itunes, disc defrag, and it reads cd-roms extraordinarily slow. It takes about 5 minutes to open then and after they are opened they continue to run very slowly. I did a clean install when i stinalled windows 7 (use to have windows xp) about 2 months ago and have had the issue ever since installing windows 7. I have tried to find fixes but nothing seems to have worked. I do realize that others have had similar issues with itunes, however; since the problem seems to be an issue with other programs I figured that there was a much larger issue.
