It seems like you are encountering an issue specifically with copying .lnk files on Windows 7. These files are shortcuts that point to programs, documents, folders, or other locations. To address this problem, you can try a few troubleshooting steps: 1. Check File Permissions: - Make sure that you have the necessary permissions to copy these .lnk files. Check the file properties to see if there are any restrictions. 2. Use Command Prompt: - You can try using the Command Prompt to copy the files instead of using File Explorer. Sometimes, issues with file operations are resolved through system updates. 4. Check Antivirus Software: - Your antivirus software may be interfering with the copying process. Temporarily disable the antivirus and then try copying the .lnk files again. 5. Run System File Checker: - Run the System File Checker tool to scan for and repair corrupted system files that could be causing the copying issue. Let's try to troubleshoot this further if the issue persists. If you encounter any specific error messages or behaviors when trying to copy these .lnk files, please provide them for more targeted assistance.
