Hi ,Few days ago I bought a Z580 Laptop (CI7/4GB Ram /500GB HDD) ..
I get BSOD and I unable to find the reason
16x16_smiley-sad.gif

I tested the ram with memtest/HCI memtest and windows memory diagnostics for over 24h and not error showed ...
I tried to recover the windows but I still get blue screen
16x16_smiley-sad.gif

blue screen appears very randomly ,

I was even not able to create recovery disks using lenovo recovery software and I used linux live cd to create image from hard disk ,

here are two of crash dumps which I have now ( I lost previous crash dumps ):
https://www.zeta-uploader.com/545549866
https://www.zeta-uploader.com/1254407628
https://www.zeta-uploader.com/590758537

I got very different blue screen messages
like :
fault in nonpaged area
IRQL not less or equal
ntfs.sys error
SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION
and ...

As I said using a clean and recoverd windows doesn't help ...

one of my friends says it could be issue with SATA controller

I would be glad if someone can help me to resolve this problem ...

Please provide this information so we can provide a complete analysis: http://windows7forums.com/blue-screen-death-bsod/38837-how-ask-help-bsod-problem.html

At work we run diagnostics on every system that we take in for repair (before we even start working on it). At a minimum, please run the free diagnostics here: Initial Hardware Diagnostics. For more in-depth diagnostics, please run those listed here: Hardware Diagnostics

SP1 isn't installed, please do the following:
Installing Windows 7 Service Pack 1
1. Visit the PC manufacturer's website and update ALL drivers. DO NOT use Windows Update or the "Update drivers" function of Device Manager.
2. Check Device Manager for any unknown/disabled devices - if there are unknown/disabled devices, fix them with the latest drivers from the device manufacturer's website (not the PC Manufacturer)
3. Visit Windows Update and get all updates (may take repeated visits)
4. Visit Windows Update and get Service Pack 1 (usually under Important Updates). Read these notes for installing SP1: Steps to follow before you install Windows 7 SP1 and Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1 from the Microsoft Download Center
5. Visit Windows Update and get any other available updates. May take repeated visits, but keep it up until you get several "Windows is updated" results.
If you're having difficulties with installing a Service Pack, please use the SURTool from this link: What is the System Update Readiness Tool?
Also, check out this troubleshooting link from Microsoft: Troubleshoot problems installing Service Pack 1 (SP1) for Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2

I have had limited success in installing updates/Service Packs when using a "clean boot". I suspect that I'm just bypassing the problem - and that it can come back to bite me in the butt later on.

Thanks John ,
//

I forgot to say a very important thing which now I think it could me the reason of this problem.
The notebook originally had 4GB of Ram and I bought another 4GB from the shop that I bought the notebook.

First time when I got blue screen I thought it could be problem with Ram's ( specially the second one )
So I tested memories in dual mode and each one individually ( using Memtest Bootable CD / Windows memory diagnostics and HCI Memtest )
but none of them showed any error .

As the blue screen is showing very randomly ( maybe every 2-3hours ) I tried to play with the notebook like playing games , compressing files , encoding videos and ...

One important thing that I found is I am getting the blue screen only when both memories are installed ( in dual mode )
Second important thing is these two memries are in different clocks ..

cpuz screen shot :
http://img.techpowerup.org/121220/Capture001.jpg
http://img.techpowerup.org/121220/Capture002940.jpg
http://img.techpowerup.org/121220/Capture003.jpg
http://img.techpowerup.org/121220/Capture004.jpg

What I can guess are :
1- both memories are ok but because of different clocks there are problems runing in dual mode.
2- As I didn't test much the second ram individually ( only 3-4 hours ) there could be incompatibility problem with this ram and notebook mainboard ?

Can someone confirm if this is/could be the reason of this problem ?
