Windows 7 desktop keeps refreshinh or flickering...

ive been getting this wierd refresh thing going on on my desktop recently. its been happening if i open a folder and close it on the desktop, the icons will reload themselves like its refreshing, or if i am on a website, i can see the desktop icons on the title bar of IE right, so i see the icon flicker.

its only doing this it seems when i am doing something...but a few minutes ago i had nothing going on and it just flickered again, and its only the desktop.

any ideas? i am gunna run a virus scan right now and see if theres anything coming up.

how did the scan go?

it said there was 1 major virus found called eula.exe and that was removed. the desktop is still flashing though when i open and close a folder.

Wow I can't believe I missed answering this so apologies for that... Have you tried re-installing the graphics driver or using the latest version?
