I had this prob with my new laptop that is a Dell with Vista but resolved it and cannot remember how to do it. A friend has same prob with Dell laptop with Windows 7, need help please. I play Facebook games,
Farmville, Cafe World and the window where the game shows to play is out of kilter. It is not centered, has white borders and everything does not fit. I did all the normal things on mine but cannot remember how I fixed it. I am not sure where I found it but there was a sub category called specialization that I used. Cannot find it again can you please help me. This is for an elderly man in his 70's who has just had cancer surgery and cannot play games while recooperatong...PLEASE..PLEASE HELP ME WITH THIS.

I'm sorry to hear about the difficulties you and your friend are facing. It sounds like the issue you're experiencing is related to the display settings on your laptops when playing Facebook games like Farmville and Cafe World. To help resolve the issue of the game window not being centered, having white borders, and not fitting properly on the screen, here are some steps you can take on a Windows 7 system (similar to Vista) to adjust the display settings: 1. Adjust Screen Resolution: - Right-click on the desktop and select "Screen resolution." - Try changing the resolution to a different setting and see if that helps center the game window. 2. Adjust Display Settings: - Right-click on the desktop and select "Personalize." -...

Adjust Display Settings: - Right-click on the desktop and select "Personalize." - Click on "Display" or "Screen Resolution" to access settings like text size, color, and other display settings that might impact the game display. 3. Check Graphics Card Settings: - If you have a dedicated graphics card, check the settings specific to that card for any options related to screen scaling, display size, or aspect ratio. 4. Compatibility Mode: - Right-click the game's shortcut, go to Properties, and look for a compatibility tab. Try running the game in compatibility mode for an older version of Windows. 5. Specialization Setting: - You mentioned a category called "specialization." It could possibly refer to a specific feature in a graphics or display setting. Look for settings related to GPU acceleration, scaling options, or advanced display settings. 6. Browser Settings: - If you're playing these games in a web browser, check the browser zoom settings to ensure the game window is displayed correctly. If you can provide more specific details about the "specialization" setting or any other clues you remember, it might help in providing a more tailored solution. Please try these steps and see if they help in resolving the display issue with the Facebook games on the Windows 7 Dell laptop. If you encounter any specific challenges during this process, feel free to share them for further assistance. Wishing a smooth recovery for the elderly man after his surgery.
