I guess the problem is with your wireless connection. There does not appear to be any problem with the IP configuration. It may be the DNS connection from your router - try resetting the router.

Pat, im having similar problems. I can connect to the internet just fine but when I try to play league of legends it tells me "Could not connect to the HTTP server. Please check that your Interent connection is enabled and that your firewall is not blocking access.

Your dns server address is still set to an external address and I wouldn't expect it to be - check that you have selected the option "obtain dns server address automatically." If your are certain you have and it still does not show 192.168.1.1 as your dns server address in the ipconfig listing then you will have to set it manually - unchecking the automatic dns option and manually entering 192.168.1.1. You will always have to reboot after making these changes - did you do that?
When connected through a router (either wired or wirelessly) the DNS server address should be set to the router address. This should be done automatically if dns server address setting are set to automatic for each of the adapters concerned. You can check the dns server address for each of them by going to command prompt and enntering:

ipconfig /all

If you would like any help interpreting the output please post the report on here.

hi... patcooke... i'm having the same problem.. i'm actually using the internet provided by a local here since i'm a student... it's like a rental internet but we could use it as we like.. my friends and i use it just fine... the problem is.. few months ago, i always got logged out automatically by the server saying that there's no more session for me but my friends had no trouble at all since we use the same router for the wireless.. usually the message 'no more session is allowed for user' would only appear if i logged in to other device (my android) and want to log in to another (my laptop), since one username and password is only for one device only... i don't know what to term by this way of internet rental..

back to the problem.. when i log in to my internet account, i could now only use the internet for 30 minutes, sometimes less,(before this i could use the internet for days before having to log in again).. when i checked the details of my connection, it says the lease obtained and the lease expired is only for 1 hour.. ex: lease obtained : 27th december 2015 3:00:00 - lease expired : 27th december 2015 4:00:00... but i could only use the internet for only 30 minutes.. i've already did the configuration thing.. like automatically obtain ip and dns servers and the ipconfig command prompt with flushing the dns... the thing is... I've successfully overcome this problem a month ago..and i was relieved.. but this problem occured again few weeks ago.. so the problem was solved for just 3 weeks and occured again.. i dont really know what's happening or seem to be the problem.. when i troubleshoot, it will say that my 'computer is correctly configured but the device or dns server is not responding or working'... please help... tq

I would start out by testing whether or not you can ping the DNS server(s) listed from ipconfig /all . If that is successful you may want to flush your dns and either test queries with nslookup, or run wireshark, filter for DNS only and test some queries. If they don't work feel free to post a wireshark capture file and I can look at it.

I'm now encountering this problem and sometimes, I'm unable to access the Internet. When I use Windows Network Diagnose tool to find the cause, it says: DNS server isn't responding.

What I suppose to do now to resolve this DNS error?
