Windows 8 Driver Power State Failure BSOD

Hello, I bought a laptop 2 weeks ago with Windows 8 and since then every few hours I get this BSOD with an error driver_power_state_failure. I read a lot about it but since I can't read the dump file I don't know what's causing the problem. I'd appreciate some help!
p.s. not sure if this is the right dump file that I have to upload.

Followup: MachineOwner

I notice that your using Daemon Tools which are known to cause bsods under certain conditions. Please remove until we sort out the issue.

Your GPU driver is in need of updating:

nvlddmkm.sys Fri Oct 12 06:22:51 2012

Also your bios is old:

BiosVendor = Acer
BiosVersion = V1.10
BiosReleaseDate = 08/24/2012

Laptops and notebook manufacturers release their own drivers for their products and you can find your drivers, Bios and firmware updates here:

Acer | Download

Please ensure you have the correct model page ect.

Thanks for the quick response!
I don't think DaemonTools is the problem since I installed it 2 days ago and I've been having these BSOD's since the beginning. I will update my drivers now.
p.s. I will delete it anyway, just in case.

That's great to hear! Thanks for updating your thread too.. :)
