Edge has all of a sudden disappeared from my taskbar and I'm not getting the option to pin it back on..Same applies when I try and drag it on, it wont let me...No problem with pin to start menu.
Solution
Hello.
I know this is quite old but I recently had this exact same problem. I found that if you open your start menu and find any icons related to microsoft edge and REMOVE them or upin all of them so that there are no icons for edge on your start menu and then you do a search for Microsoft edge you should be able to pin them again to your TASK BAR and/or your Start menu.

Please try the following:
- goto Start - bottom left corner, rightclick it and select All apps
- then go, in the menu that appears, to Microsoft Egde and rightclick it and select Pin to Taskbar
Hope this does the trick,

Sorry, I did not read correctly and was answering without thinking
The recipe is:
- Start up Edge, than it should appear on the task bar
- Right click the Edge icon on the taskbar and select Pin to taskbar
Again sorry for all misunderstanding I caused.
Greetings from The Netherlands
Henk
