I have had a problem for a few days now, My system boots up fine but when it gets to the login screen it starts to flicker and I cant do anything but it works fine in safe mode. I have tried uninstalling the display drivers and reinstalling them but that dosn't seem to work. Any tips on how to get it working again?

Here is a video of what is happening www.youtube.com/watch?v=V6dp5L4UTrY&feature=youtu.be

Hi InDebt,

can you post the details of your pc and which drivers your using.

In the meantime you might have bits of old driver left around when un-installing and installing again. So try un-installing the driver and then running this app:

Driver Fusion - The Complete Driver Solution

It used to be called driver sweeper and will rid you of old bits of graphic driver which can at times lead to issues.

Failing the above do you know when the issue started and if so did you add anything or remove anything hardware or software related? If so then perhaps system restore might help?

Hi,

thank you for posting your specs. I notice your running with the latest 320.18 gpu drivers from Nvidia. Some users have found these to be buggy and it might help your cause if you went back to the previous driver. try going back to 314.22 which you can find here:
