I went from a 500GB hard drive to a SSD240GB drive. The SSD is very fast but could the smaller size be causing me to have a much slower download of web pages? IE sites like Breitbart and other conservative sites take forever to let me page down thru the information? It has been said that this is a problem with poorly formatted web pages. I find it hard to believe this is the sole problem.

Solution
could the smaller size be causing me to have a much slower download of web pages?
Not likely.
Chances are that it might be an issue with a browser setting such as hardware acceleration.
Most browser have it so you might try experimenting with setting it off and on and see what if any impact it might have.
IE's settings is explained here http://www.thewindowsclub.com/software-rendering-hardware-acceleration-internet-explorer-9
You don't actually mention which browser you are using but you can google your browser name and "hardware acceleration" and find out how to adjust the setting.

Solution
The SSD is definitely not the cause. Try different browsers.
