Windows 7 Headset not detected?

Have you tried increasing the volume? Look under sound properties, see if it's either turned off or the level needs raising.. If you look at the screenshot you'll see the sliders (I know your using vista but it should be pretty similar)

hmm... it was the headset... i bought a new one... it was kinda not working anymore^^ thanks anyways^^
