I just upgraded from Vista to Windows 7 a few days ago and ever since then, my RAM will jump from 39% to 99% within 1 1/2 hours and becomes sluggesh to the point where I cant hardly do anything. I never had this problem with Vista. I've searched and search and saw all types of topics related to this, but did not give me an answer to this.
Also since I installed Windows 7, everytime I reboot, I get this black screen that says its checking my :C for NTFS or something like that and it will not go away...ever, unless I reboot it again and press some keys within 10 seconds.
My system specs (Alienware Mx17 laptop)
Processor: Intel Core 2 Quad CPU Q9000 @ 2.00GHz
RAM: 4.00Gb (says 3.75Gb usable)
System Type: 64-bit Operating System
Graphics: Nvidia GeForce GTX 260M (SLI)
Nvidia GeForce GTX 260M (SLI)
Nvidia GeForce 9400M G
