Windows 7 How to delete formerly shared items???

I have had a number of folders on my desktop shared.
Things needed to be cleaned up.
I removed all shares from my desktop.
They all still appear on my laptop, but of course not accessable.
I want to delete all those shares - as I could on XP.
There is no rt clk option to delete - rt pane of left.
DEL doesn't do anything.

HOW do I do it?

It's a kind of Desktop clean-up wizard' (which 7 doesn't have any more)...

what I need to clean out is the now unshared folders on my desktop that are still listed in WE on my laptop.
XP did the same thing, but I could just highlight and delete whether they were still shared or not.

Actually, some of the folders no longer exist since I restructured my desktop hard drive.
