just purchased a bluetooth speaker, ive never downloaded anything for bluetooth, how do i find bluetooth on my laptop?

Solution
If this is a laptop, there will probably be a FN + F# key combo that will turn on Bluetooth. On my laptop it is FN + F11. Once Bluetooth is on, press Windows key + i > Devices and you will have a Bluetooth tab. After Bluetooth is on press the pairing button on the speaker then search for the device on the computer to complete the pairing.
Is the LT supposed to have BT?????
You can check by right click the windows flag, then click device manager. If it has BT it will show there.

Hi

On my computer in Windows 10, if I left click on the /\ (up arrow button) icon on the right side of the taskbar next to the speaker icon,

There is an icon for Bluetooth in the window that pops up.

If I left click on that I get a menu that offers, "Add a Bluetooth Device", and "Show Bluetooth Devices".

Click on Show, and see if it detects anything.

If not try the Add a Device option.
