Windows 7 I can not change My Desktop Background in Windows7..Please Help!!

Hi...My name is Tehseen Asghar i update my system from Vista 64 to Windows 7(64) Home Edition.

is going fine but am facing one problem...i cannot change my desktop background...i try it many ways but fail..when i start windows this error message appear.

Catalyst Control Centre"Host Application Has stopped working"

when i try to put any image as a Desktop background than following error message appear.

"The image can not set as a wallpaper.an internal error occured"

please help me to fix these errors.i,ll be thankful to you.

Incorrect graphics card drivers. There are newones available. Check my blogs for the link.

Seems like everyone to lazy to even answer a question anymore.
