I have been getting several BSODs.

After using "Whocrashed", here is the analysis.

The first time I got it, it was when I started up my computer.

It was a BSOD 0xA, Driver IRQL Not Or Less Equal

Parameter 1: 0x0
Parameter 2: 0x2
Parameter 3: 0x0
Parameter 4: 0XFFFFF800002E9AF74

Probably caused by ntoskrnl.exe

The second time; I left it overnight and when I returned to it, it said 'windows had recovered from an unexpected shutdown.'

It was a BSOD 0X9F and 0X1000009F

Parameter 1: 0x4
Parameter 2: 0x258
Parameter 3: 0xFFFFFA8004EE0660
Parameter 4: 0xFFFFF80000BA2740

Is it because I sometimes leave my laptop on overnight?

I DO NOT run any demanding programs. I use my laptop for surfing net, school work, facebook, gmail, blogger, twitter, youtube, and listening to music on itunes.

Thank you for your help.

:)

If you hate BSODs as much as most of us (excluding me) do, follow these instructions Link Removed to post an actual report.

the info you provided:

is useful, but only half way there. It doesn't tell us everything - "DRIVER IRQL NOT LESS OR EQUAL" can relate to a number of problems, so can the "BSOD 0xA".

Hope you can get back soon
