Windows 10 Ideapad 330-15IKB (Type 81DC) "Other User" problem after changing HDD to SSD and recovering

Hello !

I changed my HDD with an SSD. I had kept an image of Windows to a usb.

After putting the SSD , put the USB , windows automatically recognize it and start recovery proccess, selecting "Remove files and clean the drive ".
After completing, instead of the first steps after recovering (choose keybord layout, time etc) it goes to the log in step of windows and there is a "other user" and requires name and password. I tried and bypass this step through safe mode and logged in windows with administrator user, but I cannot do anything and desktop is black. Tried safemode, netplwiz etc.. nothing..

Should I put back the HDD and do something with that and put after the ssd again? Or put the HDD temporary at the optical drive so to have both and do something?

Thank you !

Hello admin !

I did not clone the HDD. Just replaced with the new SSD and started the laptop for the format.

Should I put back the HDD ( I had done nothing to it, no format etc) and put the SSD to the optical drive (Ι have no caddy yet) and do the clone ?

I most certainly would. Check the manufacturer of the SSD they may have a tool for doing the clone.
