Hi pplz.
I ahve recently posted in Win7 support on another thread as my PC has by freezing.
Not ""not responding" but totally freezing like somone took a screenshot of my screen and left it there. cant move mouse, alt tab or get any repsonse.
This has hapenned about 5 times in 4 days and i have no idea why.
This has also happened 2 more times on "shutting down" screen. Its not justtaking forever.. its Frozen (the little circle isnt turning around)
I ahve updated all drivers and backed up whole system.
Im running an exterme 6 asrock MOBO with i7 2600K not overclocked yet.
My boot HDD is my SSD corsair, on a SATA III port. I ahve set my mobo to "allow SATA III port to run as OS boot" only a few days ago.. evne though ive ALWAYS been booting from this drive on that port (lol?)
attached are CPUz and dmp files.
I tried a restore and went to work. When i returned and booted i got a "computer recorvered from unexpected error"
I assume it froze on shut down and stayed there till FINALLY it provoked a BSOD. Therefore my "assumption" is that all these freezes may have resulted in BSOD if left for.... up to an hour or 2
I ahve fun ckdsk on my ssd and it came up all clean...
Thats all the info i can think of. Ill be checking in often so any more info required and ill give it asap.
Thanks for all your help and advice
Finally this evening i tried a system restore. View attachment 3 BSOD dump files.zip
