I have no idea what to do. I have my Daws on it. And I’ve tried everything can anyone help ?
Ty.

Have you checked if the cables (both power and data) are properly connected inside the computer?
What info does the BIOS/UEFI provide about the disk?

Yes. I’ve checked all the cables/etc.
In bios I have legacy Secure off.
I have to keep hitting F12 to change the bios settings configuration.
Its upsetting. I change the options around and it boots up 1 out of 10 tries.
I’m lost with this.
Thank you so much.

Also UEFI doesn’t have a file for windows 7 pro. Optiplex 3010. It’s using legacy. However when I do get it booted up everything works great.
Peace.

Your screeshots are very helpful.
Based on this screenshot it seems that the disk is visible in BIOS/UEFI:

Please select Hard Drive in the image below and take a screenshot with the available options (if any):

Thank you so much. I’m ever so grateful.
I’ve tried that but I really don’t know how to do this.
I’m a recording artist. Lol

I just can’t seem to fix it.
I don’t know if you can call me, that would be a big help. I left the computer on for 3 days. I’m worried I’ll do more damage. Lol

Thanks so much.
I have two windows 7 pros. To run Sonar Platinum and Harrison mix conceals.
Better than pro tools.
Anyway, I have a deadline for Sony records. I’m losing it. Lol

I’m very grateful.
Peace my friend.

I ran the 30 minute test. It said everything was okay. But it’s not. I have to keep playing with the boot sequence and uncheck and start w/ usb devices. Then C; drive DVD. Os C
Then ST 0000......
Then diskette and last is NIC.
I have to do it several times and then it boots.
I dropped the service pack 1 window pro 7
It asks for English and the rest of the stuff but still won’t fix the issue.
I’m not great w/ computers. Should I shut it down ? Instead of leaving it run. Today is 4 days now.

Thanks.

HDD symptoms like you're experiencing and date/time is showing wrong information.

BTW: LOVE the site......smooth JAZZ....Hell Yah! Listening to it as I type this.

Wow thank you. Much appreciated.
The date and time are right.
I don’t know what’s up.
Making me nuts. Lol

Thank you so much.

Did you change the CMOS battery?

After you do that and still experiencing the issue.....your HDD may be failing. If that's the case....I would save anything of importance to a USB drive or a portable USB HDD. Then replace the HDD with a new drive. I recommend a SSD. They are inexpensive these days.
