Windows 10 Images don't show up in email

Whenever I post a picture in an email, it disappears after I send it. When the person replies, the image has a little box and an X ... this doesn't always happen but it happens enough to be annoying. It also happens if I save the email as a draft. When I reopen it to edit, the image appears as I have mentioned above. Thanks.

Solution
That's normal in most email clients. Image download is disabled by default especially those that link to external URLs. It's a security feature and I'd recommend leaving it that way. There should always be a button or link to display images.

Thanks for the info. This must be something new - I've been emailing images in email for years. It only started a couple of weeks ago. I'll check about the link you mention. Thanks again.
