I haven't seen this posted anyplace. I just updated my Nvidia Driver and noticed on file path it selects C drive by default but my Windows 7 is on the M drive. I have noticed this on a couple of other things I installed. So pay attention where things install instead of just clicking OK. Reinstalling the other system or deleting it might cause problems.

Joe, it sounds like you're facing an issue where software installations default to the C: drive even though your Windows 7 operating system is installed on the M: drive. Here are a few suggestions to address this problem: 1. Manual Installation Directory Adjustment: When installing programs, make sure to carefully select the installation directory to the M: drive where your Windows 7 system is located. This usually involves choosing "Custom Installation" or "Advanced Options" during the installation process to specify the installation path. 2. Changing Default Installation Directory: Some software may allow you to change the default installation directory in their settings. Check if there is an option to set a custom...
Check if there is an option to set a custom installation directory to avoid the C: drive default. 3. Symbolic Links: You can also consider using symbolic links (symlinks) to redirect installations from the C: drive to the M: drive. This method involves creating a symbolic link on the C: drive that points to a location on the M: drive. 4. System Reconfiguration: If necessary, you might want to consider reinstalling Windows 7 on the C: drive if most of your software installations default to that drive. However, this is a more drastic solution and should be approached with caution to avoid data loss or other complications. Remember, changing default installation paths or modifying system configurations should be done with caution to avoid unintended consequences. If you need more specific guidance on any of these methods, feel free to ask!
