Windows 7 my Vaio says no operating system found

i was trying to recover my system by pressing F10 key (VAIO recovery system) as soon as it began i cancelled it out. now when i start my laptop it says no operating system can be found immediately after the logo of VAIO appears.... how can i get it of this problem (My DVD rom is also not working)

It must have started the recovery process.

Hit F8 on startup and choose Last Known Good Configuration.

hitting f8 does't works.
this error comes immediately after VAIO logo appears and nothing happens on hitting F8

Create a USB Windows install key then boot to it by adjusting the bios to do so. (It may show up there as a hard drive, so if you can't find it, look for it like that.)

Clean install Windows from there.

If you don't know how to create the USB key, there are many links on Google showing you how.

If you don't have the Windows DVD to create the key from, you're basically out of luck entirely, unless you find a legitimate place to download the DVD.

You need to hit the F8 key immediately after turning on the computer and keep tapping it.
