When I first plugged in my microphone, it popped up an annoying message asking what it was. I told it that it was a microphone and that was that. The next time I plugged it in, the same window popped up, so this time I clicked "do not show this message again." Everything was fine until I rebooted my computer.
Now nothing at all happens when I plug in my microphone. The computer is unaware that it exists. I need that annoying popup back, but there doesn't seem to be an option anywhere. Is there a way to bring back all the messages that I have "do not show this message again"ed away?
