YES!!! Thank you so much, finally it works (also thanks to Trouble for trying to help out)!

Can you explain to me how you used the hardware ips number to find the driver? ...must have been this number (8171 and 1467103C), but I can't see how that is related to the driver at all...

No, no. Trouble wasn't trying. He did.

It's the hardware id - nothing more to say lol.

You can Google

use this - Link Removed - Invalid URL

or use this in I.E. - Microsoft Update Catalog

(Just don't go downloading anything to replace what you have. I gave you the very latest and best. :) )

Sorry, I wasn't able to get back to your thread in a timely manner, I was otherwise occupied. But you were obviously in good hands with TorrentG's fine help.
As he explains, if you use Internet Explorer and go to the Microsoft Update Catalog and paste the second line of the hardware IDs that you provided in an earlier post into their search box you will see that it identifies your wireless card as a Realtek Semiconductor Corp. - Network - Realtek RTL8191SE Wireless LAN 802.11N PCI-E NIC
You can then use this information to go to the manufacturer's website and obtain the latest and greatest driver for your hardware which TorrentG supplied in his post. The other link he provided works basically the same for revealing the actual hardware Mfg, Model and Number from the Hardware IDs.
Glad you got your problem fixed and by the way welcome to the forums and we hope to continue to see you around.
