i'm using nvidia 7300le 256 pci.
in windows xp my vga detected as 256mb video card but now it is detected as 128mb vga with 64mb vram.
i searched the web and some body told me to update driver. i used win vista update driver but no thing changed. i need to restore my vga to 256mb to install some of graphical softwares and games.
please help me to solve this problem and have a 256 vga on win7.

why xp detects 256 and (7 and vista) detects 128?

Give this download a try: for the the official Windows 7 driver.

NVIDIA DRIVERS 191.07 WHQL

Go to Control panel > Programs and features and uninstall the current drivers.

If they are not listed there, go to Device Manager select the video card and choose uninstall.

my problem did not solve

i have downloaded the required update. uninstall and reinstall the update. but my problem did not solve.

Did you uninstall the old drivers first from Programs & Features or Device Manager.

Did you reboot?
