Windows 7 on the taskbar, pinned icons get mixed with open programs.

on the taskbar, pinned icons get mixed with open programs. is there a way to keep them all to the left like on xp's quick launch icons.

The look of the taskbar buttons takes some getting used to. You can change the action, somewhat, but right clicking on the taskbar and going to properties.

After you get used to the aero peek abilities, you may see it differently.

Just drag and drop them to the left, beside the Start Icon and they will stay there.

You can add the old taskbar back.

Open Windows Explorer,. navigate to C:\users\youtusername\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Internet Explorer and select the Quick Launch folder
