That’s one last question before I move on to Acronis True Image. I’ve been trying for at least a full day and I believe the last half of yesterday to sort out how to restore from a network “WINDOWSBACKUPIMAGE” I spelled it that way because that’s how Windows spells it when it creates it However so far it has proven imposable to restore from that file.
This seems really odd since windows itself has the mechanism to create the file It is in the File History dialogue in the bottom left corner there is the option to create a system image, clicking that gives a dialogue box where you can point the image backup to a network location. OK cool so far.
So now the really weird part starts. I can’t find any way to restore from that image I have even rebooted from the F8 System Recovery option but there is no way to access a network location
