I want to view photos on a desktop on my tv. The network is set up and I can see WMP on my TV. The problem is that, although my playlists are in separate folders, the TV sees all the photos as though they were in one folder.
Can someone please tell me the organizing steps in WMP to avoid this?

Solution
To organize your photos properly in Windows Media Player (WMP) so that they appear in separate folders on your TV instead of being grouped together, you can follow these steps: 1. Ensure Each Photo Set is in a Separate Folder: - Make sure that each set of photos or playlist is stored in separate folders on your computer. This will help in organizing them effectively within Windows Media Player. 2. Add Photo Folders to Windows Media Player Library: - Open Windows Media Player on your desktop. - Go to the "Library" tab in Windows Media Player. - Click on "Organize" and then select "Manage libraries > Pictures." - Click on "Add" and then browse to the folders where your photos are stored. Add each folder containing photos that you want to organize separately. 3. Check the Library View in Windows Media Player: - After adding the folders to the Windows Media Player library, check the library view to ensure that each folder is listed separately under the "Pictures" section. 4. Organize Photos into Playlists: - To group photos from each folder into separate playlists: - Select the photos you want to include in a playlist. - Right-click on the selection and choose "Add to" and then "Playlist." - Name the playlist accordingly to distinguish it from others. 5. Syncing with TV: - Once you have organized photos into playlists within Windows Media Player, ensure that your TV is set up to recognize these playlists from the media server. - Check the settings on your TV to ensure it is configured to display and access playlists from Windows Media Player. By following these steps, you should be able to organize your photos into separate folders and playlists within Windows Media Player, allowing you to view them categorized on your TV. If you encounter any issues during this process, feel free to provide more details for further assistance.
