Hi all,

I've searched this issue and read the FAQ to no avail, so if I'm being dumb and have missed something just smack me upside the head and point me in the right direction.

Whenever a connect a USB device - it doesn't seem to matter what I connect - to any of the ports on my VIA 6212L-based PCI USB 2.0 card, Windows 7 freezes. I have tried two different cards, and several different USB devices including a PSP, an iPod and a WinTV dongle, with the same results.

My system:
Windows 7 build 7100
Asus A8N-SLI Deluxe Mobo, BIOS Rev 1805
AMD Athlon 64 X2 4400
3GB PC3200 DDR
Radeon 4670
2 x SATA HDDs, a Maxtor 6L160M0 and a Hitachi HDT725025VLA380
Horrible Sitecom WO-115 PCI wireless adaptor

So far as I can tell, there is nothing of interest written to the Event Log.

Does anyone have any thoughts?

Any and all help greatly appreciated!
