When you encounter a situation where Safari triggers the User Account Control (UAC) message repeatedly despite clicking "Yes," there are a few steps you can take to address this issue without disabling UAC entirely. Here's a guide on how to allow Safari through UAC:

Modifying Safari's Compatibility Settings

  1. Run Safari as an Administrator
    • Right-click on the Safari shortcut or the Safari executable file.
    • Select "Run as administrator."
    • Check if Safari launches without triggering the UAC message.
    []Change Compatibility Settings
    • Right-click on the Safari shortcut or the Safari executable file.
    • Go to Properties.
    • Navigate to the Compatibility tab.

Create a Shortcut with Elevated Privileges

  2. Create a Shortcut with Elevated Privileges
    • Right-click on the desktop and select New -> Shortcut.
    • In the "Type the location of the item" field, enter cmd.exe /C start "Safari" /high "C:\Path\To\Safari.exe".
    • Replace C:\Path\To\Safari.exe with the actual path to the Safari executable.
    • Name your shortcut and click Finish.
    • Right-click the shortcut, go to Properties -> Advanced, and check "Run as administrator."
    • Try launching Safari using this shortcut.

      Additional Tips:

      • Ensure Safari is up to date to avoid compatibility issues.
      • Check for any malware or adware on your system that might be causing this behavior.
      • Consider creating a new user account to see if the issue persists there.
By following these steps, you can tackle the UAC issue without disabling it entirely and allow Safari to run smoothly on your system. If the problem persists, feel free to provide more details for further assistance.
