Windows 7 printer driver issue epson stylus photo 820

I have tried using my disk to update the driver;the manufacturers website says its incompatible with windows 7 and doesn't offer driver updates.
Any way around this, or is it time for a new printer?

Hi, have you tried plugging the printer in regardless? According to the page here: Windows 7 Compatibility for Epson Stylus Photo 820 Inkjet Printer: Epson. Drivers, Updates, Downloads drivers are already included with win 7. According to the Epson website this might also mean reduced functionality..

I tried and according to epson website it is not compatible with windows 7. I tried downloading their drivers etc. nothing seems to work. I tried uninstalling and re-installing printer, to date nothing has worked.

The only other thing I personally would try is look for a Epson forum or similar.. If no answer can be found that way then you may end up having to upgrade to a new printer..
