Windows 10 remove system files

I have just installed the fall creator update and all seems fine. I also made a flash drive for a clean installation if needed.
My question is, How long should I not remove the disc cleanup system files because I want to create an image that does not contain all those files.

I would simply check all your usual applications and if all is well remove them. I generally only hold on to them for a couple days.

I will check it out tomorrow and then iif all is ok will remove and take an image. Thank you
