Windows 10 Restricting Network Access on Win10/Linux Dual Boot

Hello, I have a PC with Windows 10 and Kubuntu Linux dual boot.
The machine is connected to my DSL router via LAN cable. No Wifi hardware installed.

I like Windows to have no internet connection at all. Linux should be able to connect without any restrictions.
How can I prevent Windows from going online while LAN cable is connected?
This must be 100% reliable disconnected so that no application and not even windows can connect secretly

Nothing will be 100% short of unplugging the cable.

Some options would be
  • Remove the NIC driver in Windows
  • Disable the NIC in device manager
  • Add a firewall rule to block all outbound connections
  • Set a static IP address that won't work on your network with no gateway specified

Thanks for the infos.

Another thought:
What if I connect a wifi stick instead of LAN cable and set a MAC filter in my router to block the stick's real address.
Then in Linux, on boot I let it spoof the MAC to be a permitted one in the router

Would you think this could be more safe since out of Windows' reach?
